Instruction to Presenters

Oral Sessions

The presenter is invited to meet the Session Chair on the day of his/her presentation. Please meet the Session Chairs in the room of your presentation 15 minutes before the session to do the following:

Each paper is given 15 minutes for the entire presentation. This includes:

A PC with Microsoft Windows operating system and a LCD projector will be provided in each session room. For the presentation, each PC will be installed with Microsoft Power Point and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
A helper will be available to assist with the file uploading. It is the responsibility of the presenters to make sure that their files are presentable using the provided software.

Poster Sessions

Poster session will be held at a designated area of the conference venue. Each author is responsible for preparing, setting up and removing his/her own poster according to the conference schedule. Please setup your poster 15 minutes before the session starts. Please remove your poster after the session ends
As many participants will walk around during the poster session time for questions and discussions with the authors, the authors are thus required to be present at their poster location during the session except for short breaks.
The IEEE PEDS organizer is not responsible for possible loss of posters left on the board after the session.

The poster panel with Paper ID is provided for each poster presentation. The poster dimension should be in A0 size, which is about 84 cm (width) X 118 cm (height). Push-pins or adhesive tapes will be provided to attach your presentation materials onto the poster board.

Your poster should be visible from several metres away; so lettering should be large and clear. Use colour to emphasize important features. Diagrams and graphs should have clear captions. Photocopies of your paper manuscript are not acceptable.
Displaying many A4-sized papers on the board for poster presentation is not acceptable.
The Poster Session Chair will take attendance of presenters during the session.
